Popular among tourists, Dubai is one of the most attractive locations in the world as it is surrounded by mysterious deserts, sand dunes and the stunning Hajar Mountains. It is divided by the Creek which is essentially an inlet from the gulf splitting the commercial centre of Dubai in two. Within the city you will find amazing beach resorts, incredibly high tech buildings all side by side with old traditional houses and mosques. If planning a trip to Dubai you will have to take in consideration lots of aspects (like in any other trip) and one of the most important aspects is accommodating in the city. One of the best solutions is to rent a room at a hotel. Dubai apartments offer all the conditions...
Go With The Flow: Write With Transition Words...
One of the most common weaknesses I see in day-to-day writing is poor logical flow from one idea or point to the next. This usually takes the form of a bunch of seemingly unrelated phrases thrown together with little or no sense of sequence, continuity, or relativity.Although the overall subject may be obvious, the words to describe it seem to be scattered on the page like an almost random set of unconnected thoughts. On a regular basis, I see letters and reports in which each phrase seems to be independent of the one before and the one after, when in reality, there is an actual sequential and/or logical flow.Consider the following three sentence example:1. The entire building had to be...

We all know that there are constantly evolving solutions and a parade of suppliers who can provide them. But rather than talk about the best technology, I think it would be useful just to swing the debate over to the issue of the Supplier. Trailering and Towing Your Pontoon Boat
Trailering and towering your pontoon boat doesn't have to be a dreaded chore. As a matter of fact, if you follow a few simple tips, not only will you expand the opportunities you have to visit a wider variety of waterways, but you'll enjoy the drive as well. Towing obviously begins with your tow vehicle. It is extremely important that you keep this vehicle in tip-top shape. Change oils and filters more often than you would under normal driving conditions. In must cases, it's a safe bet to do it twice as often as regular maintenance requires. Tire pressure is another thing to check on a regular basis. While it's not a good thing to have overflated tires, its even worse to drive a vehicle with...
Monaco Tax Haven Resident Mix Changing
The number of residency applications from women in Monaco is increasing, according to a Monaco travel guide. Best known of Europe's tax havens, Monaco has also been seen as a social gathering and vacation place for the rich - and home to successful businessmen enjoying the zero per cent income tax policy. With the social highlights of the Monaco Grand Prix, the luxury yacht show and the casino, the image of Monaco's incoming population could be misconstrued as a male dominated business orientated environment, with women taking their place behind the casino dealing tables and the pit lanes for the Monaco Grand Prix. But the incoming mix is changing, and with it Monaco and Monte Carlo's image. A...
How To Search New Jersey Property Tax Records...
Property Tax Records are available to the public in the state of New Jersey. The public tax databases contain a wealth of important information that will help you become educated home owners as well as potential home buyers. Until recently, searching the tax records involved a trip down to the county records office and probably the better part of an afternoon. Not anymore, with just a few clicks you can search tax records in any of the following NJ counties: Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Salem, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren The three most popular public tax records databases for...
If you're selling your home or investment house, take advantage of home staging trends. Here are eleven key points about staged homes.1. Staged Homes Sell in Less TimeSurveys on the effects of home staging range from stating that home sell for 30 percent faster to the Christian Science Monitor's statistic that staged homes sell twice as fast. Last year, during the hot seller's market, The National Association of Realtors found that staged homes sold in 13.9 days as opposed to 31 for non-staged homes. Imagine what the effect will be during a buyer's market.2. Staged Homes Sell for More MoneyHomes that sit on the market usually get lower offers because home shoppers think that there's something wrong...

The super yacht industry has gone from strength to strength in recent years, and the Monaco Yacht Show has proved to be the natural home for their annual display to would be buyers. Spotted among possible buyers was British Royal Prince Michael of Kent. The world's leading luxury yacht show in Monaco held 18-22 September is to pay for 55 wind turbines in New Zealand - enough to generate power for 45,000 homes - making the event 'carbon neutral'. Under the watchful eye of Prince Albert, the yacht show is part of Monaco's new stance on global warming, and comes shortly after Prince Albert himself travelled to the North Pole in April to highlight the damage he believes global warming is having on the...
The Bill Of Rights Is Wrong ... Since When?
Walter Murrow was my hero, one of them really, when I was very young. I picked my heroes carefully. This small knowledge of picking your "role models" carefully was ensconced by the Boy Scouts of America. My membership in the Boy Scouts was almost mandatory. By my family. Me mum was a Scot. The Bill of Rights is wrong! Since the last election. One where, I admit, though for the good of this country in a way, at least at first. (yeah, I typed that easy enough:) I thought, although I knew that as a normal rule, the Republican choice, (one of only two for us, but not by law! Too bad.) would be best at this time in America. I was not wrong about that! If the Democrats had been in office during the day...
Hinged Rail Stair Lifts
If a door at the top or the bottom of the stairs may be blocked by the rail of the stairlift, there are a number of models designed to overcome this problem. Some manufacturers are able to produce a rail with reduced overhang upstairs, so the lift will not protrude as far into the hallway. This may solve the problem at the top of your stairs and is a very cost effective solution. If there is a door or passageway at the bottom of the stairs then it is likely that you will need a folding track or hinged rail stairlift. This means that the bottom section of the rail can be folded out of the way when the lift is not being used. This will allow you to gain access to a door that would be blocked by a...
Yacht Charter in the Northern Ionian Sea
No look at the Ionian would be complete withouth mention of Homer and the Odyssey. The Odyssey tells the storey of Odysseus and his travels and adventures throughout the Mediterranean in around 800BC. The Trojan War concluded when the Greeks sucseeded into bringing a wooden horse into the city of Troy. Greek soldiers were hidden inside and opened the city gates to the Greek army who sacked the city. Odysseus and the other Greeks could know return to their kingdoms across the sea. To say Odysseus's journey was eventful is rather understating the matter. On departing Troy in what is now north west Turkey he sails south through the Aegean Sea. On reaching the southern tip of Greece he is blown off...
Who is Watching the Regulators?
I have been doing a lot of research on regulatory bodies, including the FTC. Recently in the FTC's report on franchising 432-pages I noticed a some discrepancies, which were contrary to my personal knowledge and observation of the agency; specifically the franchising division. If the FTC is watching American Business, then who is watching the FTC? Some could say private sector attorneys and you can always fight the FTC, but even giants like Microsoft end up settling out of court, due to the cost of litigation these days. The FTC can take away a million or even a billion dollars of hard earned brand name value by grandstanding in the mass media and filing a case. What a complete sham? It costs too...

It is therefor quite natural that what impacts us via the "Net," the "Web," and/or our e-mail communications can spill over into our Ezine articles that we publish. In light of these facts, this is the introduction and the 1st of my new Ezine articles series now called "A Rainbow Reminder." This, and future "A Rainbow Reminder" series articles will also bere a the article subject in the title of the...

Taxes on hotel rooms are common, and politically popular because the taxpayers usually do not vote in the jurisdiction levying the tax. These states do not levy an individual income tax: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. The Monaco Grand Prix ranks among the top sporting events in the world, and for good reason. The combination of Formula One cars street racing and the influx of celebrities to the playground of Europe make a heady mix for the annual event, and is viewed as part of the social calendar for the world's top sports stars, actors, models and businessmen. The circuit takes in Casino Square and passes by the renowned Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo, making it one of the most recognisable hotels in the world. The race started in 1929, organised by Monte Carlo resident and founding president of the Automobile Club de Monaco, Anthony Noghes, and the Grand Prix has made the world's second smallest country a...
How To Eat Your Way Across America With Coastal...
Joining Coastal Vacations Club has made it affordable for me to travel on a whim---even just for a good meal. I simply wouldn't dream of visiting certain places without partaking in that town's specialty foods. I couldn't write this as a top 10 list as I originally intended. The flavors and foods are all wonderful and unique so we'll just eat our way west to east.In Alaska, salmon is the specialty. I had my first salmon in an Alaska Railroad dining car, but now I head for the more stationary Phylis's Cafe and Salmon Bake in downtown Anchorage. Outdoor patio dining is the way to go here to enjoy the midnight sun in Summer.Much of the southwest was once part of Mexico and the foods of that...
Diving in Tanzania and the Zanzibar Archipelago
The warm clear waters along the Tanzanian coast offer superb and varied diving; with, some of the most spectacular sites in the gulf between Zanzibar and Pemba. Here the rough waters and strong currents are home to manta rays, white sharks, hammerheads and an abundance of pelagic life. The best diving on Zanzibar Island is at Mnemba Atoll. The reef around this tiny East Africa Island offers a range of good inner and outer wall dives, as well as some beautiful coral gardens. Being located on the deepwater side of Zanzibar, this site is also a good place to catch sight of both whale-sharks and humpbacks during the migration. If you are going to restrict diving to Zanzibar Island only, then the most...

An introduction to crewed yacht charter
An introduction to crewed yacht charter Many of us dream of touring the tropical Caribbean, but there is no other warm and cherished way to experience it, than on a yacht. From the USVI all the way down to the Grenadines, each Caribbean island has its own diverse character and each time carries some thing different to offer. Added up with that crystal clear aquamarine waters, dolphins rolling around your boat and tropical sunsets on close beach and your sailing vacation would be a life time experience. Crewed yacht charters are the yachts where the crew is completely devoted to any specific yacht. They take care of the maintenance, sailing, cooking, and cleaning and also with the other navigation...

Hawaii Volcano Tours
Hawaii volcanoes are a major attraction for tourists every year, as hundreds flock to view active and dormant volcanoes. A Hawaii volcano tour will take guests by land, sea, or air, and up close to volcanic activity, letting spectators actually have site of flowing hot lava. A Hawaii volcano tour will also take you to national parks where life and lush vegetation has found a place atop the rocks of aged volcanic flow. The Hawaiian Islands are actually formed from volcanic activity, which continues to shape and reshape the islands today. Each island of the Hawaiian Archipelago is made up of at least one primary volcano. Some of the islands are combinations of more than one volcano. The Big Island is...
Sail trim can be one of the great mysteries of effectively sailing a vessel propelled solely by the wind. Ask someone who has been on a racing vessel, or even just watched a racing yacht, and you are likely to hear how much work sailing is or how the sails need constant adjustment. This view is really incorrect—sail trim can be as difficult or as simple as you want to make it. While it may be true that a racing sail boat trying to achieve every last tenth of knot of boat speed does require a fair amount of sail trim adjustment, that is certainly not true for the typical day sailor out for a pleasurable afternoon or even for a cruiser making a passage. In these situations, it is not uncommon to...
Initially I was blind sided by Alpine daisies and Digitalis (foxglove) passing themselves off as wildflowers, much less the other fabulous scenery on the North Cascades Highway, and then they showed up again. I turned the tables on them though and made a pass. I don't commonly make passes at bikers, but in this case, it was a must. I went around them. Bikers. The non-motorized kind.I hit the brake often for resting bicyclers and continued searching, as I drove, for the perfect shot of wildflowers. My "kill two birds with one stone" mentality needed Ross Lake as a backdrop.I ducked out of traffic last spring when I got off the ferry and dipped onto South Chuckanut Drive. For approximately...

Japanese Automakers with North American Head Quarters are moving the ball forward and pressing on into the future with new technologies for safety, fuel economy and net-centric systems. Before retiring from the auto aftermarket franchise industry, I took a tour around the nation to see what I had built and visit all our franchisees. During this trip I visited all the all Major Japanese Auto Manufacturers North American Head Quarters as part of our 2002 Victory Tour.We are seeing a major push by Japanese Auto Makers to re-gain lost ground from post 9-11 lost market share by domestic manufacturers due to the Zero/Zero Financing Strategies of 2001-2002. Toyota had gained incredible market share in late...

Information On Bareboat Charters - Helping You...
Bareboat charters are yachts that you can rent and operate by yourself. If you are not experienced in handling a yacht, you can hire a captain to take over this job for you. The idea behind a bareboat charter is that you do not get any extras - just the bare boat. You have to supply your own food and entertainment and if you want toys for watersports you either have to bring your own or rent them. Most of the bareboat yachts are between 30 and 50 feet in length and you can choose bareboat charters using power, sailing or catamaran boats. In order to book bareboat charters without hiring a captain, the yacht charter company will need to see proof that you can handle the yacht on your own. You will...

I love to sail, so much that I became a certified American Sailing Association Sailing Instructor. It has been 30 years now that I've sailed the Chesapeake Bay, East Coast U.S.A. and the Caribbean Islands and I've been fortunate to have owned a number sailing vessels, currently two Beneteau sail boats.I'm often asked by my students what to look for when making an investment in a sailing vessel. I often share the following seven tips and hope that you too may find...

When you talk about the best sailing competitions in the world, all discussions start and end with The America's Cup. The "Goofiest" Of All Fishing Trips
There are a lot of places in this world where one can go to find solace, peace and tranquility while wetting a line for fish.Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida is not the first place that comes to mind.Nonetheless, right there beneath the shadow of the Magic Kingdom, amongst wide-eyed roller coaster riders, a stones throw from Tinkerbell's safety harness, exists one of the prime Largemouth Bass fishing waters you will find anywhere.Remote? No.Pristine? Hardly.Filled with hungry fat Largemouth Bass....YES!!I'm not really sure what compelled me to book a two hour Disney Bass fishing adventure.I don't know if I was curious that possibly a rather large mouse might show up at the dock with a fishing...

Mike Dunville* had a decision to make. As the new operations manager for Alpha Staffing, he wanted to make a difference at the dynamic staffing firm. The principals of the firm had charged him with making the day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently while they concentrated on growing the business in today's challenging economy. With his background in operations and finance in the insurance industry, Mike had confidently and successfully translated some of those service practices into Alpha's daily staffing and recruiting operations. Now it was time to take the next step, and modernize the hodge-podge of computer systems that until now had been reasonably adequate for their three-office...

Fun facts about Talladega Superspeedway
Its white-knuckle racing all the way at Talladega Superspeedway! The speeds that used to be possible at Talladega are no more. It is one of two tracks on the NASCAR circuit that forces teams to run a restrictor plate to limit the engine horsepower, which in turn limits the top speed of the cars. Built in 1969, this challenging tri-oval course is a little over 2.5 miles and the banking degrees sure take some talent! The first winner of a NASCAR race at Talladega was Richard Brickhouse in 1969. Speed records have been recorded at Talladega Superspeedway and it is known as the biggest and fastest motorsports facility in the World. If NASCAR thrills are what you seek, then Talladega is the place you...
Beneteau Yachts - Sailing Enthusiast
Any sailing enthusiast would agree that Beneteau is one of the biggest names in the yacht industry. The company owes its prestige to Benjamin Beneteau who started building fishermen's trawlers in 1884. The modest company survived the rigors of competition towards the early part of the 20th century, and is presently being run by a third generation member of the Beneteau's family, Annette Roux. Beneteau yachts have earned its place as the world leader in terms of sailboats construction, which is more than twice the size of their nearest competitor. However, Beneteau yachts are more than just sailboats. The company also manufactures other type vessels in all categories of the industry, including...

This was on top of $1 billion invested between 1998-2002. Five Steps to Successful Selling
The Science of Selling Many people seem to believe that selling is the province of people with the "gift of the gab". Oddly enough, nothing could be further from the truth. Whilst a sales person needs to be a good presenter, which can involve talking, it is more important that they be a good communicator. Communication is a two way street, not one way and if a sales person never shuts up, then they will never get to find out about the customer's needs, the customer's wants, the customer's expectations or other matters of vital importance to the sales process. There are only two reasons why people won't buy something. Either they don't need it or they can't afford it. Although you may have heard the...

Missing Christmas Flight Mystery For Malta
A flight from London to Malta on December 26 has set alarm bells ringing on the holiday island of Malta. The flight operator, well known and popular airline Ryanair, claims no flight was scheduled, while one newspaper said they had a photograph showing a departure board with 'cancelled' next to the flight number. The Malta tourist industry pushed for low cost airlines to be allowed to operate to the island in the hope of arresting the recent decline in visitor numbers, and agreement was reached with Ryanair, with the inaugural flight from Luton in November. With a projected 80,000 to 100,000 extra tourists a year, the arrival of new flights to Malta has been warmly welcomed and seen by many as the...
